The Granary Cottage - Covid 19 Guest Charter
What we are doing to ensure that you have a great and most importantly safe stay.
Firstly, we are ensuring that the cottage will be cleaned and sanitized to the Covid Ready Guidelines from PASC UK, the AA and Visit England. We have produced a Risk Assessment that covers all aspects of our business.
Please read our Covid-19 protocols for our guests
Our welcome book is now in a digital format and a link to the on-line welcome book will be sent to you to download in advance of your visit. This will contain all the information about the cottage i.e. appliance instructions plus information for tourist attractions
We have gathered all the information we can about where you can go out to eat, as booking in advance may be required where there is limited capacity at restaurants and pubs. Please check the websites of places you might wish to visit as some may still require visitors to make advance bookings because of restricted numbers.
Where possible we would prefer to minimize our presence in the cottage during your stay. If, for example, if an appliance doesn’t work, we can try and sort it out over the phone in the first instance.
Our contact numbers are: Mobile 07817404181. House 01665 578300
We are usually around, so if you need us just call and we’ll be there to answer your questions.
On change over days the cottage is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. In addition, the bed pillows, duvet and bed mattress cover are replaced. If you have any queries regarding out cleaning protocols, please do not hesitate to contact me
How can you help us ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable holiday.
Be rigorous in following social distancing when out in public.
If you displays signs of the Covid-19 virus you must inform us.
You must then immediately go and get tested by contacting https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing-and-tracing/get-an-antigen-test-to-check-if-you-have-coronavirus/.
The result must be shown to us and if you are confirmed to have Covid-19, you should return to your home if you can.
If you cannot reasonably return home (for example because you are not well enough to travel or another member of the party is unable to drive) and you have to isolate here, then you will be have to pay for any additional nights accommodation and future bookings of guests that may have to be cancelled as a result.
Please ensure that we have all contact information, telephone, numbers, and email address
so that we can pass this onto the NHS if it is required. This information will not be used for any other purpose. This must be provided at the point of arrival or before.
Remember the best way to stay safe is to regularly wash hands thoroughly.
Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you soon
