In addition the town of Rothbury has a small co-op, chemists bakeries and butchers

Powburn is 9 miles from the historic town of Alnwick, 8 miles from the small town of Wooler, and 10 miles from the small town of Rothbury, with various other small villages all around. The coast is approx 35 minutes drive with its many castles and beautiful beaches.

Local attractions include well recommended Cragside House and Estate, The Ingram Valley and Alnwick Castle and Gardens We are also all well located for many walks and cycle routes.
